Welcome to another Simple Scrapper Blog Hop! 

My first layout is based on a sketch from this month. Im working on pictures from March right now, so this one is from Easter. I love how it turned out! I always like to add a little journaling to my pages, but sometimes no spot feels right. When that happens, I like to add hidden journaling! 

The second layout I made this month is from a story starter, and I also used a sketch from this month! I decided to make a layout for my youngest. He just turned one, and of course I am still working on his baby album, and I have had this onesie laying around waiting to be used. In order to get it really stuck on there I stapled it on in a few hidden places!

Simple Scrapper March Blog Hop!

Welcome to the March blog hop from Simple Scrapper!

My first layout was made from one of the March templates. This month I decided to use some memorabilia in place of a photo. I got this little card in my starter kit for Origami Owl, and I thought I was going to put it in my Project Life spread for the month, but then I saw this template and got inspired! I love using memorbilia on layouts, its one of my favorite parts of scrapbooking. I love the bits and pieces you collect in life, and I love having them in albums.

 This second layout was inspired by a story starter. We took a vacation to Canada in 2010, and I have yet to scrap a single photo from the trip, except this one now! I really need to get on that, and the story starters have inspired me! Ive been working on ideas for the rest of my pictures too!

Simple Scrapper February Blog Hop!

Welcome to the February blog hop for Simple Scrapper! This month I made two layouts, one with this months templates and another for a Story Starter this month!

I am really loving the Story Starters from the Premium Membership, they are such a great way to jump start my layouts and they help me use pictures that don't necessarily have a story to go with them. The story starters give me a story to tell!

January Simple Scrapper Blog Hop & Giveaway!

Welcome to the Simple Scrapper January blog hop!

I made two layouts this month one from a January template and one inspired by a January Story Starter, but the template was from December. 

This layout used template Single #2 from this months templates. I used mostly my Studio Calico kit and then added in some extra papers from the American Crafts Soho Gardens collection and a bit of 5th and Frolic.

This layout was inspired by a January Story Starter.  I used some of my older stash and scraps for this one! Im really focusing on stash busting this year! This was my first time scrapping myself, and I kind of like it! I might do a yearly layout like this around my birthday.

You're My Sweetheart

Have you guys seen all the new videos Two Peas will be posting SIX days a week now!? I am super excited, and Ive been loving what has been posted so far. I even did the challenge for the Scrap Your Stash video last week! It was to use up some brads. Here is what I came up with:

I had made myself a homemade kit, since I am REALLY focusing on stashbusting this year, and I added a pack of brads from the Woodland Park collection. I used up over half of them, plus I threw in some from a pack of 5th and Frolic brads. It felt good to make a dent in my brad stash! It may look like a pack of brads threw up on my layout, but I kinda like it :)
